Man Pulls Knife at BP: Shaker Heights Police Blotter

Threat at BP: Shaker Heights Police arrested a male for felonious assault at 11:59 a.m. Aug. 16 during a heated argument outside a BP gas station.

Police saw two men arguing at the gas pumps of BP at Larchmere Boulevard and Kemper Road. One pulled out a knife and threatened to kill the other man. Police detained and arrested him.

August cheer: A Christmas tree led to a warrant arrest at midnight on Aug. 15.

Shaker Police saw a man carrying a six-foot, artificial tree while walking on Van Aken Boulevard near Lee Road. Because of the time of night — and year — officers found him to be a bit suspicious.

Police arrested him after learning about a criminal warrant he had in East Cleveland.

Car stolen from driveway: A Kendall Road resident reported that an SUV was stolen from his driveway on the morning of Aug. 17.

The resident said his 1996 GMC Jimmy was stolen from the driveway between 5:30 and 8:22 a.m.
