Birthdays are always a reason to celebrate, especially when a city turns 100.

Shaker Heights hosted a birthday party at Horseshoe Lake Park Saturday as part of its centennial Come Back to Shaker Weekend. Children and parents enjoyed food, music, wild animals and a clown during the event.
