The outage is a result of a transformer failure in the neighbrohood. When power is restored, the district adds, power may go out briefly at Woodbury, Onaway, and Boulevard.

The phones are in service but district officials ask that community members limit calls to the schools so that the phone lines will be open in case of an emergency.
