REMEMBER: Lee-Shaker Rapid Crossing Closed for 15 Days
Closure is part of RTA's Lee Road Grade Crossing Reconstruction
Beginning today, the Greater Cleveland RTA rapid crossing at Lee Road and Shaker Boulevard will be closed for 15 days.
The closure is part of the RTA's Lee Road Grade Crossing Reconstruction. Drivers on Lee Road will be detoured to Shaker Boulevard. During the closing, the RTA will reroute Nos. 37 (East 185th - Taylor) and 40 (Lakeview - Lee). Click here for more route details.
The Lee Road Grade Crossing Reconstruction is one seven similar projects in which rapid crossings in will receive new concrete crossing surfaces, asphalt road approaches, new transit track and sidewalks, according to a March Sun News report.
