Shaker Heights to Host New Year's Eve Skating Event

Shaker Heights is offering residents a chance to skate in the New Year.

The city is hosting a New Year's Eve Family Skate event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Thornton Park Ice Arena, 3301 Warrensville Center Road.

The free event features a DJ, prizes and an early New Year's countdown. The city welcomes families and all ages to the event.
