Stolen Car Recovered From Suspicious Person Report

Shaker Heights Police responded to a report of suspicious people and arrested three teens.

A suspicious person report led to the arrest of three teens in Shaker Heights.

Police responded to a report of three teens walking around in a parking lot on the 3700 block of Warrensville Center Road just after 4:30 a.m. Nov. 8.

When they arrived, they encountered three teen boys, 16 and 19, all from Cleveland, who had a car remote with them. Police tried the remote and checked the plates of the car it unlocked and discovered it had been reported stolen.

They arrested all three teens and charged them with receiving stolen property.
