TELL US: What Should Go in Sussex Corners Vacancy?
What kind of small business would you like to see open at 20300 Chagrin Blvd.?

With three new businesses, the Sussex Corners shopping plaza is filling up again.
There are only a couple vacancies left, and local artist Erica Weiss is scheduled to fill one with a gallery later this year. That leaves the space at 20300 Chagrin Blvd. as the biggest need for city officials hoping to fill the remainder of Sussex Corners with another small business.
The 6,300 square-foot space used to be occupied by Charlotte's Day Spa. It's next to Bicycle Boulevard and the newly opened OPUS restaurant. Menesse said real estate agent Bob Zimmer has been actively trying to fill the space, but interested parties have not taken serious steps to bring a business there.
So, we ask you — what kind of business should go in this space?
The plaza already contains a restaurant, bakery, photographer, bike shop and housewarming pop-up shop and a hair and nail salon. The city hopes to keep the plaza to small business owners, so what kind of concept would you like to see there? Another restaurant? A book store?
