The House Warmings to Reopen in September

Vintage furniture and home accessory shop will become part of a new art gallery and retail site

The House Warmings, a pop-up seller of vintage furniture and home accessories, is closing, but owner Carina Reimer says it will return to Sussex Corners some time in September.

By then, it will part of Juma Gallery, a three-unit combination of an art gallery, jewelry boutique and cafe at the intersection of Chagrin and Lomand boulevards. The concept belongs to artist Erica Weiss, who operates Juma Gallery in Little Italy.

Renovations are taking place in the Sussex Corners units, and Weiss recently said she's working on the logistics of the gallery and store. She wants Reimer to be a part of it.

"Thanks to everyone who has visited me in my store, The House Warmings," Reimer wrote in an email. "The first couple months were great and I enjoyed being busy refinishing new pieces of furniture.

"The House Warmings will be back in September in the same building but in the back."
