UPDATED: Van Aken-Lee Power Returns
Police department and court among buildings without power for much of the day

Power was restored to buildings in the Van Aken Boulevard-Lee Road area around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
About 525 customers, including the police department and municipaal court operated without power since about 7 a.m.
The police department used generators to get through its duties, Police Chief D. Scott Lee said. The outage seemed to affect customers in this area, extending to residences off Fernway Road.

However, did not suffer any outages during the day. FirstEnergy's outage map shows that fewer than five customers are still without power. According to WKYC, more than 6,300 customers in Cuyahoga County were without power.
