5 Things to Know About Parkside's New Principal
Amanda Sullen will take over at the elementary school in November.
1. Amanda Sullen was an assistant principal at Harvey Rice Elementary in Cleveland Schools for three years before coming to Parkside Elementary.
2. She and her husband, Tim, moved to Solon so their children could go to the schools.
3. After having a baby this summer, Sullen won't start until Nov. 1 to be with her child.
4. She earned her bachelor's degree at Baldwin Wallace in 2006 and her master's at John Carroll in 2009.
5. Until Sullen takes over in November, school counselor Tricia Petrie will be the interim principal to start the school year.
