Apartments Evacuated After Unruly Teen Pulls Fire Alarm

Two buildings at Liberty Hill were evacuated after a 17-year-old girl, who had been fighting with her mother, intentionally pulled the fire alarm, according to .

The teenager, a Solon resident who lives at Liberty Hill, will be referred to juvenile court on charges of making false alarms, disorderly conduct and unruly juvenile.

According to the police report, the teenager had stayed out the night before without her mother's permission. When the girl arrived home the next day, she said she was packing a bag and leaving

She began a loud fight with her mother, and a neighbor called the police.

The girl made to leave and pulled the fire alarm on the way out of the building.

Two of the buildings were evacuated, and the Solon Fire Department was called to the scene.

The girl eventually was returned to the home, but she proceeded to trash her bedroom. The police detained her and brought her back to the police station, according to the report.
