Booze and TV Stolen from American Tavern

The American Tavern is down a flat-screen television and several bottles of liquor after thieves broke in on Sept. 23.
However, the intruders didn't have to do any actual breaking because the business was left unlocked, according to
Police got a call around 6:30 a.m. that the Tavern's rear door was open, officials said. The thieves managed to take one TV, and tampered with the others but could not get them down. The stolen TV was worth $580, but there is no value on the liquor, police said. At least 10 bottles were taken.
