Bowling Alley Boss Saves Employee from Getting DUI

An officer patrolling the area on the night of Sept. 10 saw a large crowd gathering outside and a man screaming at the top of his lungs, according to .

The man, David Sabb, 51, is an employee at the bowling alley and was screaming at his manager because she wouldn't give him his keys, police said.

Sabb had been drinking since 5 p.m., and at midnight, he was ready to go home. The manager was trying to arrange a ride, and when she wouldn't hand over his keys, he became belligerent.

Police arrested Sabb and charged him with disorderly conduct, but he avoided a driving while drunk charge.
