Clean Energy Future: Solon Joins Equity Coalition

Solon has joined the Power a Clean Future Ohio group, which looks to implement more equitable clean energy solutions statewide.

SOLON, OH — Solon will join Power a Clean Future Ohio (PCFO), a nonpartisan coalition dedicated to developing clean energy solutions.

Solon City Council adopted a resolution Monday to join the organization. PCFO members will work with Solon officials to create and implement new energy programs.

“In Solon, we know what it takes to make smart investments and find good partners so when we met with Power A Clean Future Ohio we knew their knowledge and growing network would be a great benefit to the city’s plans for the future," said Mayor Ed Kraus in a statement.
