If you've got questions about how to vote early, we've got answers. You can also see what will be on your ballot.
SOLON, OH — Early voting for the Nov. 2 general election opened Tuesday for most of Solon and Cuyahoga County. Voters in Ward 4 may have to wait until Wednesday to cast their early ballots.
Due to the primary election in September, election officials are required by law to allow recount request deadlines to pass before accepting votes for the general election. Since Ward 4 voters participated in the primary, they'll have to wait until Wednesday, when the deadlines passes.
Residents can apply to receive a vote-by-mail ballot by visiting 443vote.us or by calling the Cuyahoga County Board of Election at 216-443-8683, or by visiting any public library. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Oct. 30. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 1.
