Father of the Year: Solon Man To Be Honored
Evan Koppel of Solon is one of four Northeast Ohio men to be honored by the Northeast Ohio Father's Day Council.
Evan Koppel, a Solon resident, will be honored this week as a Father of the Year by the Northeast Ohio Father's Day Council.
Koppel, who is a regional sales manager for United Airlines, will be honored at a dinner and reception this Wednesday.
The council picks selects fathers who have "demonstrated the ability to balance their personal lives, serve as role models for their children and help make a positive difference in their communities."

The other honorees are: Mark Shapiro, president of the Cleveland Indians; Robert E. Blackham, National Practice Group Manager fof Roetzel & Andress; and Robert P. Kneen, President and CEO of Traveline.
Evan is maried to Julie Koppel, the proud parents of Benjamin, 14, Adam, 12, and Rebecca, 6.
