Former Comet, Allie Sirna, Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week
This is the second time Sirna has been honored.

Former Solon Comet and current Tennessee Volunteer junior defender Allie Sirna was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week on Tuesday, Sept. 10.Â
Tennessee (5-1-0) went 2-0 on the week with 2-0 wins over Dayton and Mercer.
Sirna has been the backbone of the UT defense, anchoring the middle of the back line.
This past weekend she had several clears in the box and disruptions of breakaways as Tennessee posted a pair of shutout victories and extended its consecutive shutout streak to 329:12.Â
Sirna and the back line withstood a combined 38 shots and 12 corner kicks from Dayton and Mercer while giving up nothing to the back of the net.Â
Sirna played the full 180 minutes of play this past weekend and she is the only Tennessee player to play the full 90 minutes of each match this season.Â
This honor marks the second time that Sirna has been recognized by TopDrawerSoccer.com. She was last named to the TDS Team of the Week on Aug. 27, 2012, after UT posted shutout wins over Willliam & Mary and VCU.
