The Honey Hut, a popular Northeast Ohio ice cream parlor, will be opening a location in northwest Solon this spring.

The local hand-dipped ice cream chain, which has five other locations in Northeast Ohio, expects to open a shop on Miles Road in northwest Solon this spring.
The shop will be located at 28300 Miles Road in the Shoppes of Solon North.

The store needed a sign variance from the Solon City Council, which it received on Tuesday.
Honey Hut is known for its signature "Honey Pecan" ice cream, plus a variety of other flavors.
