Identity Theft: Thief Spends $10,000 Using Solon Man's Name

A 38-year-old Solon man told on June 13 that someone had opened a number of fraudulent accounts using his identity.

According to a police report, numerous store accounts were opened in the man's name and used to buy merchandise. To date, the total loss is over $10,000, the report reads.

The Solon detective bureau is now investigating the case.
