Inn Of Chagrin Falls Under New Ownership

The Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group will bring two new restaurants to Chagrin Falls and take over the Inn of Chagrin Falls.

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH — The Inn of Chagrin Falls is under new ownership.

The Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group announced its takeover of the business this week. The inn has operated in Chagrin Falls for 94 years, first as a restaurant called Crane's Canary Cottage, before later becoming the bed-and-breakfast known as the Inn of Chagrin Falls.

The 15-room inn is in the heart of downtown Chagrin Falls. An update is planned for spring 2022, the group said, but guests can visit sooner. It is the first inn on the group's roster of 20-plus businesses.

“We are excited to create an amazing experience for guests while they visit Chagrin Falls from
all over the world," said Molly Gebler, managing partner of the Inn of Chagrin Falls. “We look forward to continuing the vision that Tom Lutz, Eric Heatwole and their group set forth when they took over the inn in the late 80s and are thrilled to take The Inn of Chagrin Falls to the next level with amenities that are guaranteed to enhance the guests’ experience.”

The Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group is also bringing two new businesses to Chagrin Falls: Sushi Junki and M Bevy. Both are expected to open in fall 2021.

Sushi Junki will bring modern interpretations of classic sushi dishes and pho bowls to diners. The restaurant's kitchen will be run by Chef Thai Vue. The interior will feature artwork by local artist Charity Gangale.

“We are excited to bring a place to Chagrin Falls, that allows guests to enjoy their love for sushi. We will preserve the historic architecture of the building while reinvigorating the district with
a touch of modern flair," said owner Bret Adams.

M Bevy will be located on West Street, diagonally across from M Italian. The business will offer a cozy space for guests to gather and sip drinks, enjoy charcuterie boards or indulge in a decadent chocolate dessert.

The group described M Bevy's atmosphere as a "swanky lounge."

“We hope that Sushi Junki and M Bevy will complement the Villages’ existing lineup of local
businesses,” said Adams. “And the Inn of Chagrin Falls will allow visitors to stay just a little longer.”

The Chef Art Pour restaurants includes fifteen Burntwood Taverns in Ohio and Florida, three Leo’s Italian Social with four more under construction, Aaron and Moses in Twinsburg and M Italian.
