John Hannah's Two Hat Tricks Propel Solon Hockey To Championship Match
John Hannah recorded six goals, three against Westlake and three against Orange, to lead the Comets hockey squad into the championship match of the Solon Holiday Hockey Tournament.

John Hannah could not be stopped Tuesday.
The captain of hockey team, Hannah record two hat tricks Tuesday as the Comets defeated Westlake 5-0 and Orange 5-1 on their way to the championship match of the Solon Holiday Hockey Tournament at Gilmour Ice Arena.
The championship match -- a rematch against Riverside -- will be played at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Against Westlake, Hannah scored three goals -- one of them off a great assist by Mitch Neidus -- and Sam Littman got the scoring started after he slashed his way to the net and hit on a short-handed goal in the first period. Eric Pohle completed the Comets' scoring.
Collecting the shutout was Freshman goalie Frank Nagy.

In the semi-final match against Orange, Hannah collected three goals, Neidus scored one and Pohle scored another.
