Man Fired For Stealing From Employer After He Was Given Second Chance

A KW Lang Mechanical employee was caught making unauthorized purchases with the company account on Sept. 1, according to the .

However, instead of firing him, the company asked the employee to stop and to pay back the money he had taken, the report said.

The man was given time to pay the company back, but he didn't. Instead he made six more unauthorized purchases, totaling more than $7,000.

KW Lang fired the man Oct. 1 and reported the incidents on Oct. 3, according to police.

The suspect is 32 years old from Aurora, but has not been arrested. The detective bureau is investigating.
