Meat Thief Fired From Miles Farmers Market

Employee caught trying to obtain select cuts of meat by labeling them as the cheap stuff

An employee of the Miles Farmers Market was charged with misdemeanor theft and fired from his job after he was caught stealing meat, according to Solon Police.

The employee was caught labeling beef tenderloin as leg quarters and rib steaks as chicken thighs. That's nearly $93 worth of meat for $7.66.

Police say the man was observed mislabeling the meat. He was fired on the spot.
