Mother Tells Police Her Daughter Was Punched On Roxbury Playground

A woman told that her 10-year-old daughter was punched in the face by a boy on the playground at .

According to the police report filed Feb. 2, the girl's mother said her daughter was pushed and then punched by the boy after she accidentally bumped into a group on the playground while she was passing by.

A school monitor witnessed the incident and school administrators disciplined the student.

Police handed the matter over to the juvenile officer for consideration.
