Police: Man Chased Woman, Kids With His Car

A Garfield Heights man was arrested and charged with threatening after police say he got into a car chase through Solon with the mother of his children and their two small kids.

The 24-year-old man is being held in the Solon jail after the May 28 chase.

According to , the man went to the Cleveland home of the mother of his children at about noon that day and they began to fight. The woman left with her kids and went to a friend's house in Bedford Heights. The man followed.

Police say that the the mother, her friend and the two kids then left in a car, and the man pursed. Police say the man attempted to cut them off. Once, he approached their car and banged on the door, the report reads.

The chase started at about Cochran and Solon roads in Solon and ended near the intersection of Solon and Aurora roads.

The man's children, a 2-year-old and four-month-old, were in the victim's car.
