READ: City's Legal Defense Against Deitrick Lawsuit
The city denies Sally Deitrick's allegations against the city and the mayor, arguing that the lawsuit was designed to "embarrass and harass the mayor and the city without any basis in law."
Attorneys for were in court last week and Mayor Susan Drucker against a filed by the mayor's former secretary.
Attached to this post is the motion to dismiss and their counter to Deitrick's original lawsuit, which were filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Dec. 28.
Representing the city is Nancy Barnes from Thompson Hine, which was, and Law Director Thomas Lobe.
