Sobriety Checkpoint To Be Held In Solon
Solon police will hold a sobriety checkpoint soon to deter impaired driving.
SOLON, OH — On an upcoming Friday, Solon police will hold a sobriety checkpoint to deter drunken driving.
“Because impaired driving continues to cause so many preventable injuries and deaths, we must make every effort to deter it,” said Lt. Roy Cunningham. “Highly visible and well-publicized checkpoints help us get the message out and demonstrate that driving drunk carries a substantial risk of being caught and arrested.”
The checkpoint will catch impaired drivers before they cause an accident and will educate sober drivers on the dangers of drinking and driving.
