Solon Couple's Home Burglarized While They're Away

The information in this report is from the Solon Police Department.

A Solon couple's North Burr Oak Drive home was burglarized while they were out of town between March 23 and March 25, according to .

Their 30-year-old son had stopped at the house at about 1 p.m. on March 25 to water the plants while they were away. He found that a back window had been broken and the home had been ransacked, with drawers pulled out and discarded and a safe box open.

The owners of the home are a 62-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman.

Neighbors told police they had seen a suspicious white male in the neighborhood near the home that they did not recognize.

Police don't have an inventory yet of what was taken from the house.
