Solon Dedicated As A Purple Heart City
Solon Mayor Susan Drucker issued a proclamation July 24 dedicating Solon as a Purple Heart city, in honor of veterans who were wounded or killed for their country.
Solon is now a Purple Heart City.
The proclamation, issued July 24 by Solon Mayor Susan Drucker, proclaims Solon as a city that honors veterans who have earned the Military Order of the Purple Heart, granted to those who were killed or wounded in battle.
The proclamation was read during a ceremony at Veterans Park in Solon.
