Solon Dedicates First Historical Marker This Sunday
The Solon Historical Society is dedicating Solon's first Ohio Historical Marker at the Society's Museum grounds on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the museum.

President James Garfield's local interpreter, Ed Haney, will be present to speak about Garfield's association with Solon.
Also present will be two living relatives of Garfield, an Ohio Historical Society representative, Solon Mayor Susan Drucker and other city officials.

The first 150 visitors that sign our guest book will receive a Dairy Queen treat. Refreshments, Museum viewing and photo opportunities will be available.
The Museum is located at the corner of S.O.M. Center and Bainbridge roads.
