Solon Football's Austin Stock Commits to Columbia

is headed to the Ivy League.

Stock, a standout center for the Comets football squad, has committed to play at Columbia University next fall, according to Jack Stock, his father.

Stock (6-3, 250 pounds) is a two-year starter for the Comets.

ESPN ranks Stock as the 16th best center in the country, and the top at his position in Ohio.

Stock joins fellow lineman Nate Hoff in committing to a school. Hoff will play at the Naval Academy next year.
