Solon Girls Tennis Playing Well Early

girls tennis has started the season off strong, winning the Medina Doubles Tournament and then defeating Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in a dual match.

In the tournament, Solon defeated Medina 4-1, North Royalton 5-0, Western Reserve Academy 4-1, Revere 5-0 and Strongsville 5-0.

Then the team defeated Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy 4-1.

The team has six returning varsity players in the lineup this year.  The team is strong from first singles through second doubles, said Coach Linda Fox.

The varsity team is: Monika Bandi, Hailey Baird, Alana Fayman, Tinisee Kandakai, Lexi Lurie, Jamie Marks and Danielle Pivovar.
