Solon Graduation Speaker: Tiffany Li
Tiffany Li is one of two students selected to give an address at the Solon High School graduation ceremony.

Editor's Note: handles commencement speaking different than most schools. In Solon, any senior can compete to earn one of two speaking slots at the ceremony. The students write a speech and then perform it before a faculty panel. The two highest rated speakers win the right to speak before their class at graduation.

College choice: Georgetown University to study Accounting and Government
What she will miss most about high school: "I definitely think it's the close-knit community, and the chance to explore my interests. I'll miss all of the chances to explore the fields that I won't continue in my career."

Advice for freshmen: "I know it sounds cliche but four years really do go by fast. Try out everything at the beginning. Talk to your friends: They know the ins and outs of Solon."
Proudest accomplishment: Being president of the , which had its greatest season ever. "Seeing everyone on the team grow, to practice with them and work with them, and then see them achieve. I'm proud of the opportunity to work with everyone on the team."
Dream job: Tiffany has two, one serious and one is a joke. The serious: U.S. Attorney General. The joke: Food critic. "All you have to do is walk around, eat food and tell people if it's bad or good."
Her inspiration: Her parents, Bo Li and Vicky Li, who moved from China to America. "They came to America knowing very little English and not knowing how America works."
Fun fact about Tiffany: She's developed a big-time feminist streak. She took AP European History, where she studied Europe's greatest minds. "The one thing they had in common is they all thought men were better than women."
She added: "I hope I can do things as an attorney to further break the glass ceiling."
