Solon Market District To Host Hiring Event

SOLON, OH — Giant Eagle and Market District stores in Northeast Ohio, including the Market District in Solon, will host hiring events on Tuesday.

The in-person hiring event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Solon Market District is at 34310 Aurora Road.

"As our region continues to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, supermarket workers will continue to play a vital role in feeding our communities. The company is looking to fill more than 800 positions to support this effort," the company said in a statement.

The company is looking to fill a variety of positions, including: personal shoppers for the curbside pickup and home delivery services, pharmacy technicians, deli and prepared food clerks, cashiers, bakers, baristas, meat cutters and more. Shifts in the daytime, evening and overnight will be available.

Applicants will meet with recruiters and could receive a same-day job offer. Applicants should wear a mask or other face covering during the event.
