Solon Police Investigating Break-Ins on ABC Streets

are investigating two break-ins last week in the ABC Streets area.

It's unclear if the cases are related, though in both instances, thieves broke into garages and made off with lawn-care equipment.

Sometime overnight on Dec. 4, a 72-year-old resident on Solon Boulevard reported that someone entered his garage and stole a snow blower and lawn mower, valued together at $600.

The man told police that he believes the thieves went into his unlocked car and opened his garage with the opener.

Then on Dec. 5, a resident of Edgemoor Avenue reported that a snow blower and leaf blower were stolen from her garage. Those items are worth about $400.

Solon police is investigating the break-ins.
