Solon Ward 4 City Council Primary Unofficial Results

Three candidates squared off Tuesday night with two spots in the Nov. 2 general election up for grabs.

SOLON, OH — Challenger Michael Kan and incumbent Marc R. Kotora will appear in November's general election as they compete to be Solon's Ward 4 representative to city council, based on unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Voters in Ward 4 were asked to narrow the field of council contenders on Tuesday night during the primary. The two candidates with the most votes were promised spots in the November general election.

Antonino Machi was the third candidate in the field.

Michael Kan — 597 votes

Marc R. Kotora — 330 votes

Antonino Machi — 25 votes

Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and closed at 7:30 p.m.

Of Solon Ward 4's 2,608 registered voters, only four requested early in-person ballots, though all such ballots have now been returned for counting, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
