Solon Woman Charged with Resisting Arrest After Calling Police to Her Home

Woman interfered with police investigation and told police they couldn't tell her what to do in her own home

A 58-year-old Solon woman was charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest after she summoned police to her home and then refused to cooperate.

The woman called police on Feb. 4 to report a domestic violence in progress. But when the police arrived, the woman was uncooperative and hostile to officers, according to the police report.

The woman said that the argument between her and the man of the house was "way too ugly to repeat" when officers asked her what happened.

The woman later interfered with officers conducting the investigation, and she yelled that "it was her home and they couldn't tell her what to do."
