Three Solon Wrestlers Win Weight Class at Comet Classic
Anthony Collica, Justin Kresevic and Brandon Thompson each won their weight class at the 25-team tournament held at Solon High School last weekend.

Three Solon wrestlers won their weight classes at the 25-team Comet Classic Wrestling Tournament this weekend.
Defending state champions Brandon Thompson (113 lbs class) and Anthony Collica (145 lbs) each won their weight class. Also winning his weight class -- and capping a great comeback story -- was Senior Justin Kresevic (160 lbs), who is wrestling for the first time since his sophomore after recovering from a football knee injury.
Thompson pinned his way through the tournment, defeating Riverside's Zach Van Pelt, GlenOak's Elliott Adkins, Mentor's Nick DeSanto and Willoughby South's Joey Gallegher to win the crown.
