University Hospitals Offers Women’s Health Expo on Oct. 1

Free event features prominent speakers and health information for women. Reservations are required.

The public is invited to attend a free community education event on Oct. 1 featuring health information of special interest to women.

The 10th annual Women’s Health Expo, presented by University Hospitals, will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Signature of Solon, 39000 Signature Drive, Solon. In addition to clinical experts from UH Geauga Medical Center, which has organized the Women’s Health Expo since 2007, this year’s event includes speakers and resources from UH Ahuja, Bedford and Richmond medical centers.

Participants will hear presentations and panel discussions on topics including women’s and breast health, acupuncture and integrative medicine, heart and vascular disease and more. Free health screenings will also be available and a complimentary brunch is provided.

The event is free but space is limited and reservations are required. Call 1-877-597-6348 to register by Friday, Sept. 23.
