Vietnam Moving Wall: Veterans Need Volunteers!
The Vietnam Moving Wall, a half-size but exact replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C., will be in Solon July 26 to July 30.

VFW Post 1863 in Solon is looking for volunteers to help when the Vietnam Moving Wall is here from Thursday to Monday.
The Vietnam Moving Wall, a half-size but exact replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C., will be set up at VFW Post 1863 on Melbury Avenue.
The wall will be on display starting July 26 and will depart on July 30. The wall will be open to the public 24-hours a day, and organizers hope to read all 58,272 names enscribed in the wall.

Post 1863 is seeking volunteers to support the effort, including reading the names.

TO VOLUNTEER: You can call the VFW's Thomas Bulanda at 440-477-0003, call the VFW Post at 440-349-1863 or just stop by during business hours. You can also contact the VFW at the website.
CEREMONY SCHEDULE AT THE WALL:
- An opening ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m.
- The dedication ceremony is set for 10 a.m. Saturday
- Closing ceremony scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday
- The wall will be open to the public until 12 p.m. Monday.
