As 2011 winds to a close, Solon Patch wants to recognize the top stories of the year.
To do this, we need your help! Take our poll and tell us what you think the top story of the year in Solon was. We know there were lots of big national and state stories out there -- the fight over Senate Bill 5 comes to mind -- but in this we want to focus on the local events that happened in Solon.
On Dec. 27, I'll tally the votes and run down the top five stories of the year, starting with No. 5 on Dec. 27 and finishing with the top story of the year on New Year's Eve.
