WATCH: Driver Strikes Solon Police Cruiser

A patrol officer is OK after his patrol cruiser was struck by another car near Harper and Aurora roads on Jan. 23.
Patrol officer Roy Cunningham was treated and released at in Solon. The other driver, 19-year-old Clarence M. Foster, of Garfield Heights, refused treatment.
According to the police report, Cunningham had turned onto Harper Road near the Sunmart station when Foster turned left in front of him, striking the front of the cruiser.

The police don't yet have a damage estimate on the police car, said Lt. Bruce Felton. Both cars were towed.
Foster was also arrested and charged with drug abuse because officers reported finding three vials of marijuana in his car. Foster was also charged with making an improper left turn.
