The Comets and Tigers play at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Division One Girls Basketball Regional Final at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

The winning team will head to Columbus next week to play as one of the final four teams in the Division One state championship.

Solon, coached by Trish Kruse, has a 22-3 record and gets its big plays from Kristen Confroy and Martha Thompson and Jaime Gluesing. They , on Tuesday to advance to the finals.
