We are Kenmore Construction Co., Inc. Our home base is in Akron, and our business is constructing major improvements intended to make your life a little more pleasant. We construct dams, sewer systems and highways for both public and private agencies.

A good neighbor is considerate of other people and doesn’t deliberately cause them any hardship, but you know – and so does Kenmore Construction – that some annoyances will always crop up. We ask you to be patient and put up with us and we promise, in return, to do the best we can.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE DOING . . .

Kenmore Construction Co., Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Village of Silver Lake to improve drainage and install a new waterline along Englewood Drive between Park Drive and Graham Rd. The initial phase is scheduled to start on February 28, 2022, weather permitting, which will consist of tree clearing, site removals, underground utilities and pavement restoration. Residential Traffic will be maintained between SR-59 and Oakhill Drive through this phase. On-street parking will not be permitted throughout the project. Please park vehicles in your driveways only.

Underground utility work and pavement restoration will continue throughout the remainder of the year and extend towards Graham Rd. Throughout construction, residential traffic will be maintained. This project is anticipated to be complete in Fall of 2022.

We appreciate your cooperation and will do everything possible to expedite this work and minimize your inconvenience.

FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY

Signs, barricades, barrels and fencing may be placed on site for your safety and protection. We encourage that these safety measures be observed, as there will be construction areas that are not suitable for traffic during the course of these improvements.

SAFETY is a concern with the construction excavation, materials and equipment parked on site. We certainly do not want anyone to be injured in any way during the course of this project. SAFETY in the work zone is critical to the successful completion of this project. Observance of any VANDALISM should be reported to the Village of Silver Lake Police Department at 330-929-8771. Please dial 911 for any emergencies.

If you have a special problem at any time, you may contact our job superintendent Mr. Jarrod Klodt, who may be contacted at the job site during working hours. Our office phone number is 330-762-9373 and is available 24/7. The Village of Silver Lake can be contacted at 330-923-5233.

We’re looking forward to a good working relationship. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, which will be greatly appreciated.
