- A Cuyahoga County judge has set a $1 million bond for the Columbus man that allegedly stabbed three family members. Joseph Walter, 34, allegedly fatally stabbed both his grandmother and mother on Jul. 3 at a home on East Pleasant Valley Road. He has also been accused of stabbing his brother. He is facing attempted aggravated murder and attempted murder charges. (Cleveland.com)
- The Cuyahoga County Fair is celebrating its 125th year. The fair is at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds through Sunday, Aug. 14. 4-H students spend all year preparing animals for the county fair. Click for fair information and ticketing. (Spectrum 1 News)
- Two Cuyahoga County delicatessens have been named to a list of the best Jewish delis in the U.S. Larder and Jack's Deli have been recognized by Tasting Table. - Strongsville High School held a training yesterday. The comprehensive Safety Drill was a joint effort between the City of Strongsville, the Strongsville Police Department, and first responders.
