🌱 $2.8 Million County Stimulus + Westwood Drive Rail Crossing Closed

Good morning, Strongsville. I'm here in your inbox per usual to tell you everything you need to know about what's going on around town.

But first, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

1. Cuyahoga County will be considering stimulus funding for the county's parks and infrastructure. The funding proposal is for $2.8 million and will be primarily focused on the county's southeastern area and District Six. The County Council will be voting on the proposal during its meeting today. 2. Cuyahoga County Board of Elections reports that 75 percent of its required amount of poll workers have been hired and trained. The county will be needing 4,000 poll workers to cover the Nov. 8 General Election. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is still hiring and is optimistic that the positions will be filled by next month. Today (Oct. 11) is the last day to register to vote in Ohio. (Ideastream)
