🌱 $500,000 Grant For Sewer Project + Strongsville Homecoming

Here are the top three stories today in Strongsville:

  1. The City of Strongsville will be replacing septic tanks with sewers. The city has recently received a $500,000 grant from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to support the project. According to the county's Board of Health, the project will reportedly address the complaints of illnesses stemming from children playing in the Rocky River tributary stream that is contaminated by septic tank discharge.   3. The 80th Annual Strongsville Homecoming celebration will be held from Jul. 13 through Jul. 16. The event will be on the Commons at the corner of Pearl and Royalton roads. Participants will enjoy rides, games, local food, live entertainment, and a fireworks display. The celebration is free for everyone but the rides require tickets. All-day ride passes are available for $25. (City of Strongsville)
