Here are the top three stories in Strongsville today:

  1. The Brecksville Police Department will be following the Strongsville Police Department by requiring officers to wear body cameras. The Strongsville Police Department purchased its cameras in 2020 for $400,000. The North Royalton Police Department and the Broadview Heights Police Department purchased body cameras shortly after.   2. The Strongsville Senior Center will be hosting a puzzle and book sale on Thursday, Nov. 3, and Friday, Nov. 4. The sale's proceeds will be used for Senior Activities at the center. Puzzles and hardback books will be $1. Paperback books will be 50 cents. The center is collecting donated puzzles and books for the sale through Nov. 2. (City of Strongsville)
  3. Strongsville's Scott Poti is renting his large backyard to pet owners as a personal dog park. His backyard includes a pond and a fountain. Poti's backyard is quickly becoming a popular dog park on the app Sniffspot. Users can reserve time in Poti's backyard for about $7 to $15 an hour.(WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)

  • The Strongsville Community Business Expo will be on Oct. 12 at the Ehrnfelt Rec Center at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. There will be more than 100 local businesses displaying products and services. (City of Strongsville)
