- Strongsville's Officer Matthew D. Zelinsky has received a certificate from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy for peace officer training. The 21-week course started in February and covered more than 150 different topics related to law enforcement. Click the view the full list of officers involved in the training. (iHeart)
- The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office has approved the continuation of the America Rescue Plan Act funds distribution. Each county council member will continue to distribute $6 million. The office has spoken about concerns related to the process but has approved the distribution. The most controversial distribution has been $4 million for a new clubhouse at the Ridgewood Golf Course owned by Parma. (cleveland.com)
- Strongsville's Bonnie Park has finally been improved. The 3-year restoration project was supported by a state EPA grant of $1.8 million. The project fixed the dam issue that was causing water to back up. The project has dramatically improved the air quality at the park. (Cleveland 19 News)

- A Funny Program about Funny Programs will be held on Jul. 12 at the Cuyahoga County Library. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and explores shows such as Cheers, Seinfeld, I Love Lucy, and The Andy Griffith Show. Learn how sitcoms have evolved through the decades. (City of Strongsville)
- The Strongsville Branch Public Library will be hosting Discover: Galaxy in a Jar on Jul. 20 at 3:00 p.m. The program is meant for children between 1st and 6th grades. Dress to get messy. (City of Strongsville)
