- The annual Day at the Chalet arts festival is scheduled for Sep. 18 at Cleveland Metroparks Chalet on Valley Parkway. The festival is hosted by Arts in Strongsville and will feature various mediums of artistic expression. There will be hands-on activities and local food available. Participants are asked to park at the RTA Park-n-Ride on Pearl Road. A free shuttle will be available for transport to the festival. (City of Strongsville)
- Following Friday's grand jury indictment in Cuyahoga County, East Cleveland's police Chief Scott Gardner has been placed on administrative leave. The designation was announced on Monday. The investigation is centered around aggravated theft accusations involving the state's Department of Taxation. (Cleveland.com)
- The state has released its latest COVID-19 report. The weekly report accounts for cases through Sunday. According to the state's report, Cuyahoga County had 2,372 new cases last week. The county had the highest amount of new cases in Ohio last week. (Times Recorder)
